Laurie Gadbois tells stories by creating images that provoke a sense of wonder or mystery. She begins with a concept, a feeling, or sometimes a memory. Of course, the creative process does have a life of its own... Sometimes the story that Laurie begins with takes a different route than she ever imagines. She describes that when a story does change, she experiences new insights and surprises.
