It’s been fun to have people walk into the gallery excited and enthusiastic about all of the different colors and shapes. Using walking as a source of inspiration, Wade Schuster’s art practice explores perception, memory, and the everyday life of public space.
Currently living and working in Portland, Oregon, Schuster is originally from Madison, Wisconsin, where he received a BA in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire before moving to Las Vegas, where he lived and worked from 2005-2020. Schuster’s works are held in both public and private collections, including the permanent collection of the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art in Las Vegas, Nevada.
