2011 Exhibitions

  • December: Annual Holiday Salon

Throughout the month of December, all gallery artists will be represented in the Annual Holiday Salon.

  • November: “Autumn Montage” group exhibition

New work by gallery artists – One of the featured artists is Carol Ingram who joined our stable of artists this year. Her unique style captures a drama reminiscent of the paintings created by JMW Turner late in his career.

  • October: Come what Will

“Come what Will” is a series of paintings by Noriko Sugita Becraft following the catastrophic tsunami that hit the shores of Noriko’s homeland last year.

  • September: Lost and Found

“Lost and Found” is our second exhibit in the new space. The title though cryptic, references the objects that Bobbie Jansen uses to compose her stillife paintings and Nelson Davis relies on found objects to discover ideas for his sculpture. And in a sense, the gallery was lost for seven months and has been found by many loyal fans and patrons.

  • August: Kester & Gumaelius

The Grand “Reopening” Show features beloved artists Denise Kester, an Ashlander, plus Robin and John Gumaelius, Olympic Peninsula residents. Denise’s expertise in monoprinting forms a base for new exploration with mixed media processes. The Gumaelius collaborators have created a series of circus like characters.

During the first months of 2011, and until the gallery opens in the new space, we will not be updating the exhibition schedule.

In the meantime, we invite you to browse the archives of video comments and detail pages of the exhibitions we’ve had in previous years.
