Jace’s recovery

May 2nd, 2012

We have an update from Marie Maretska’s son Jace who many of our loyal patrons helped by participating in a raffle for one of Marie’s sculptures.
We raised over $10,000 toward his medical costs.
Here is Jace’s message:

‎269 days ago my wife was told I was going to die.
262 days ago I was classified as a quadriplegic.
Last month I was cleared of any remaining tumor.
Last week I stood with only the support of my wheelchair.
Today I stood up from my bed without help or support.
My family and I are going to be okay.
Don’t let others tell you how you are going to live and don’t give up faith.
